We know that many of you are coming to Italy as part of a larger holiday and joining us at Il Borro at either the front end or back end of an extended stay in the country. As Il Borro is not on any public transport links, you may wish to rent a car from the airport to explore the area. However, this is not at all essential and is entirely your choice.
Il Borro is primarily served by Pisa, Florence, and Rome airports. Florence airport is the closest.

From FLORENCE AIRPORT
Take the motorway directly outside the airport and follow directions for the A1 and A11 (the signs are green when all other roads are blue). Get to the toll and go south on the A1 towards Roma. Continue for about half a mile and then on the next roundabout you need to turn left (11 o’clock). Il Borro is then signposted. Turn right at the next roundabout and then follow the road for 15 mins until you reach the town of San Giustino Valdarno. Go through the town and then turn right – signposted IlBorro. The estate is about a mile on the left hand side. Enter through the main entrance gates which are usually closed (ring "Reception") and continue down the long drive to the reception.
